What would you do if one ordinary day you were approached by a weirdly dressed stranger who asked you if you wanted to travel with them in time and space?

I always thought that some of the companions in Doctor Who are way too easily tempted to leave Earth with a complete stranger, even though I don't think I would have reacted any differently. I would love to have an excuse to get away from work and boring life commitments so that I can go on adventures with a madman in a box. And to have nobody notice that I was even gone? That's a no-brainer (even though we all know it always goes wrong). But for now, I have to settle on rewatching Doctor Who from the comfort of my own home, and maybe buy a telescope so I can watch out for some police boxes in the sky, like good old Wilfred.
